Welcome to our website. As we are launching these online pages in June 2023, it has been a busy ten months since our very first preview event at Ascot Racecourse. We were invited by the AWBS International Women’s Club to present the first book in the Elizabeth Ascot series: Treasure in the Attic / The Extraordinary Ladies of Ascot. While listening to a reading and Q&A session with the author, Agnes Fernandes, the ladies in the audience savoured the Victorian Black tea blend, which was inspired by the story within the book. In the months leading up to Christmas 2022, we attended several markets in and around Ascot, providing us with exciting opportunities to connect with fans of historical fiction and fine tea. Then, in March, we received a special invitation from Kempton's at Sunningdale Park to do a reading and book presentation titled "Ascot Tea Time Stories with Elizabeth Ascot." The enchanting event took place in the beautifully restored historic manor formerly known as Northcote House. As guests indulged in cream tea, we celebrated the remarkable women from Victorian Ascot who served as the inspiration behind the characters in our novel series. Most recently, we were deeply honoured to showcase Elizabeth Ascot at the prestigious Royal Windsor Flower Show. Engaging in hundreds of conversations and receiving feedback messages, these ten months of limited preview provided invaluable insights that have shaped both our website and our path forward.
Now, we are fully immersed in preparations for an autumn brimming with literary events and the upcoming holiday season. Yes, it's hard to believe, but it's already on the horizon! We are bringing the story of the 19th-century governess who wrote about extraordinary women concealed in a man’s world, as well as the tale of the fashion designer, who stumbled upon her diaries during the 2020 lockdown, to a wider audience through events set in splendid historic locations across England and online. Starting now, our first book is available for online orders within the UK. This represents still a very limited release for the series that will eventually comprise five books - each accompanied by a unique tea blend.
